About me
My name is Myriam Bakir, I am 16 years old and was born in England in a small town called Rochdale. I previously went to a community school in Rochdale by the name of Norden, but moved at the age of 10 to come to Muscat, Oman, my current home.
I moved to Muscat when I was 10 years old with my parents and siblings in 2012. Since then, I have been attending British School Muscat and have been for the last 5 years.
Moving to Oman has made a big change in my life, positively. Living in the Middle East opens doors to experience things that weren't possible in the UK, such as living near sandy beaches, being able to go to deserts, being so close to amazing cities and countries such as Dubai, going to an amazing international school, and many other great opportunities.
